SOGERA is an independent geological research organisation providing objective geoscientific data, information, and knowledge to support sustainable development in Somalia.

Vision

To build a leading and collaborative geological community in Somalia, advancing research, education, and sustainable use of the country's natural resources.

Mission

to advance the exploitation of Somalia's natural resources, especially water, minerals and oil. We aim to connect international stakeholders with the Somali geoscience community and promote early studies and modeling research across the country.
