The Somali Geological Research Association (SOGERA) is supported by a dedicated team of geoscientists, researchers, and volunteers committed to advancing geological knowledge in Somalia. Our team works collaboratively to conduct research, share scientific information, and promote responsible management of the country’s natural resources.
Our members bring diverse expertise in geology, hydrogeology, geophysics, environmental science, GIS, and mineral exploration. Through research, field studies, and collaboration with institutions and partners, the SOGERA team aims to strengthen scientific understanding and support sustainable development across Somalia.
